Interview with Lyanka Gryu. Part I

At the age of 16 actress Leanca Grau happened to the bottom to drink the chalice of unrequited love. Teen the feeling was so strong that she could not even say “love”. But the years passed, the experience soak in, and today she's really happy.

Lyanka where such an unusual name?
Mom, being pregnant, looked "Gypsies go to heaven". There was in the episode a girl named Lyanka. My mom loved it! However, you have to convince people to call me that, many hesitate, because in Russian it's like Sasha, Masha is not very correct. "Sure, that's the way to go?" I reply: “Believe me, that's fine, but if you want you can call me Laney”. By the way, under this name I have for many years led the program on television. The editor thought that Lyanka is difficult to understand. But, as an adult, I stopped listening to editors. (Laughs.)

As abroad as you call it?
The whole world knows the name of Bianca. So there is no difficulties with the pronunciation of my name. There are so many residents with unpronounceable names, my little Lyanka seems small and obvious.

Tell us about your house, please
My home is where my family is. I work in Moscow, but, when there is no work going abroad. I believe that travel is one of the best in life. This is the best remedy for all ailments. When you start to earn automatically think money should be invested. Someone buys cars, fur coats, and we travel all over the world. I love Europe and go there often. While I unreachable Asia, but I think IDO will get it. Start with Japan. But my favorite country is still Italy. I'll probably be able to live there forever. I remember when I first got off the plane in Rome, for some reason felt the smell of childhood, my grandma and walking around Chisinau...

By the way, about your childhood — what did you get first the fee and what they spent?
I was six years old. I did the commercial, I think of yogurt. It was made by a young music video Director Yuri Grymov, who later became a famous Director. It was a difficult time. The crisis in Russia. I got 200$: mad money — the monthly salary of many people. And mom, knowing that I am dreaming of Barbie, took me to the only toy House on Leninsky prospect: the night that we ride the trolley. The lights are off. Only one window lit. And in big pink letters it is written "BARBIE". And inside is Paradise. We bought a doll and a house for her. And I learned the first life lesson: if you work, you can realize any dream.

Your mom was a wonderful person. In those years very difficult for...
Yes, for a while, we lived very hard. ... Even existed. Sometimes in rented apartments. And when there was no money, friends huddled. Someone to live — always uncomfortable, so tried not to use the hospitality of friends and acquaintances. This is a time of becoming on your feet for mom was hard. She worked at the radio station night speaker. Day led the program on television and even managed to translate books from French into Russian. Mom is fluent in this language. She tried to get us out of that situation. And I started working. Quite early realized its share of responsibility, so in 6 years began to lead the program “Tick-tock”. Not scared she was with child in a strange and inhospitable city?
My mother, Stella Ilnitskaya, brave and courageous. She was always master of its destiny. It was passed on to me. Her difficult it was in life. If it wasn't for her, I probably wouldn't have become an actress. Mom always wanted to Moscow. Moreover, here were her friends.
