Jeweler Leila Kashanipour — genius eclectic: it mixes brass and pearls, business shirts and playful dresses.
Every day the world is becoming more girl-jewelers — trend. But Leila Kashanipour, twenty-nine years old founder of the brand LeiVanKash, says that he was chosen not by the dictates of fashion, and on souls: "I since the childhood dreamed of becoming an artist, and in my first year Saint Martins, studying art history, I realized that my true passion is jewelry".

We meet at cafe Leila in two steps from the Kremlin, and I immediately notice her bracelet made of brass with two large gray pearls — about such little things always get asked where to buy and who is the author. It is not surprising that the CoE decorations can be found in twenty-eight countries, in Moscow and St. Petersburg. They are Olivia Palermo, Rita Ora, Kendall Jenner.
Like many young jewellers, Leila made a bid for accessibility: "I immediately refused the gold, I prefer silver, bronze, brass, copper. They are more soft and flexible, it is easier for them to give an unusual shape. And among the stones like onyx, rose quartz, coral".
After graduating from Saint Martins, she worked for several years in a major British jewellers Asprey and Stephen Webster, and in 2011 founded his own brand, LeiVanKash, First made Gothic earrings and pendants with spikes, skulls and daggers" And then moved on minimalism: "Now in fashion laconic decoration: broken line, sculptural form plus the pearl, so my latest collection is made in the same spirit."

Pendants and bracelets in the form of zigzags and eights look good with jeans and with cocktail dresses. And one by one, and if you wear a lot at once. "Now there are no rules how to wear jewelry, you can combine everything with everything — even gold and silver," says Leila.
As a true resident of London, it mixes not only decorative in different style, but things: biker boots and floral print dress, leopard print coat and boyfriend jeans, complements Bohemian outfits Isabel Marant bags status Louis Vuitton, Dior, Chanel. My style icon she calls fashion editor of Japanese Vogue Giovanna Battaglia: "She's the first fashionista of Milan, but self-ironic, I was this close".

Leila and Alina Voronova Kashanipour
And Leila are perfectly familiar with Russian designers — in her wardrobe is a combination of Walk of Shame, blouse embroidered Vilshenko, bright things Tata Naka. And of course, white cotton shirt, a young Moscow brand MoS. Her designer Alina Voronova, a fan of LeiVanKash jewellery, Leila was invited to cooperate. In the end, for white shirts double collar jeweler invented cufflinks with pearls — this kit can be bought in the showroom in Moscow MoS.

Like most of his contemporaries, Layla tries to catch it during the day. In its usual schedule — meeting with clients and buyers, discussing the sketches with the team, going to the opening of the exhibition in the gallery and dinner with her husband, financier Alex and his brother Rezo, an industrial designer. Of course, she can run to change the office in two steps from the apartment is between SOHO and Knightsbridge, but she's trying to choose the right outfit. Measure in business, but not boring. As, for example, striped blouse — seemingly formal garment, but coming in spring any strip will be a hit.

In her wardrobe there is one taboo: nothing too open-ended, provocative — she is from a Muslim family. Although the girl calls himself a man of the world, her main love— Iran, where she came from, and the Iranian culture is the source of her inspiration. "I love the sculptor and jeweler Parviz Tanavoli, calligraphy painting artist, Asri Agigi Bahcesi. And of course, I'm crazy about bold buildings by Zaha Hadid. These smooth lines, neat shapes — just Shine!"
