A lot of misunderstanding, especially among younger teenagers, arises in the question of why people take drugs. Having all the information about how they are harmful and what impact have on an organism, children do not understand why there are people who want to use drugs. Thus, teenagers understand or will understand soon that to them something back.

Then we grow up, we learn everything themselves and think that revealed a secret about which you obviously don't know. It's like a revelation: "Bay, now I know why people take drugs". Focusing only on negative, you light only one side of the story. And so far media and society transfer us doubtful about drugs, whether we learn all truth, depends on you.

I asked peers about what parents told them about drugs: it was almost 100% one-sided report. I'm not saying that you should tell teenagers about cheerful experiments with drugs in the 1960s and 1970s, but it is important to show more balanced prospect. The answer of one of teenagers was absolutely common sense.

Mother told that some drugs force to feel happy, but this feeling is not real. And very often, when you are not under their influence, problems do not disappear, but may become even more serious.
